  • The City of Rogers is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Deputy Fire Marshal. This individual is responsible for the supervision of fire and life safety code enforcement, plan review, pre-fire planning, fire investigations, community risk reduction activities, and other related programs. Serving at the rank of Captain, the Deputy Fire Marshal also oversees the responsibilities of all fire prevention and community risk reduction personnel and activities. The Deputy Fire Marshal responds to emergency calls for service and performs associated duties as necessary. Minimum qualifications are a two-year degree in fire science or related field, six years of training and experience as a firefighter, along with several others.

  • Notice is hereby given that any eligible voter in the City of Rogers may file as a candidate for the following positions in the upcoming Primary Election:

    · One Mayor; 2-year term

    · Two Council Members; 4-year terms

    All candidates should file at the City Clerk’s office located at 22350 S. Diamond Lake Road, Rogers, Minnesota.

    Filings open at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 and will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Filing fee is $2.00.

  • This position is responsible for seasonal park maintenance work in the City’s parks, facilities, athletic fields, trails, and outdoor ice rinks. Must have ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a variety of weather conditions. Must be available weekdays and weekends.

  • On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Rogers Public Works Department will hold a Clean Up Day at the Rogers Public Works Building, 22350 South Diamond Lake Road (West of Kohl’s), from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This service is available for Rogers residents only. Contractors must find alternative services.

  • The City of Rogers Utilities Department will begin flushing approximately 900 fire hydrants on Monday, April 1, 2024 through Friday, May 3, 2024 (weekdays only).

    This process aids to: (1) verify proper operation of the hydrants; (2) evaluate available flow to the hydrant; and (3) remove sediments from the water lines.

    Flushing will be done between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time, you may experience temporary pressure changes and discolored water which can be remedied by flushing cold tap water in a laundry tub or outside spigot until the water runs clear.

  • The City of Rogers is currently seeking residents interested in joining the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission plays a pivotal role for the city in making recommendations to the City Council on planning and zoning issues, land use, ordinance amendments, and community development.

    Planning Commission meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM.
